Form and Search Questions

Will Joodatabse allow a custom form to feed information into it?

Can the search feature be customized to search by a certain criteria?
For example, the liguist locator here, www.aatia.org/AATIAV2/db/ts.asp.

Yes, you can use a custom form. jooDatabase just reads the database table it's connected to - how you get the information into the table doesn't matter.
When you set up jooDatabase, the 3 fields that you coose under Section 2, Step 2 in joodb.feenders.de/help.html are the (only) 3 fields that will be searchable.

Further to my comment below, I see that there is a new {joodb searchbox|[FIELDLIST]} option (see the help page) which appears to allow the fields to be searched to be specified; I've not tested it though.
