Alphabox with EXACT query

Hi.
Please tell me how could I make searching process by letters in "alphabox" but not as LIKE query but EXACT? I mean, that I need click some uncommon letter like „ñ” and I want to see only records that have „ñ” as first letter. I don’t want to see results with normal „n” etc. I know that is possible in "searchfield" but I need it in "alphabox"!
I need this results with exact query in mian field, I mean „Title-, name- or headlinefield” which is set in backend in component settings.

I have been waiting for your response (via email service@...) for over 3 weeks. How long do I have to wait for your attention?

If you want LIKE to be exact you must change the collation of your column to utf8_bin

Extract the attached file to /components/com_joodb/plugins/letterssp.php
and replace {joodb alphabox} with {joodb letterssp}


Be aware that Like and utf8_bin selects case sensitive
LIKE 'a%' finds apple but not Apple or Äpple

Thank you for your help but this solution does not work. I changed the collation for the search column but unusual letters like ñ or ç when clicking on a letter in a row {joodb letterssp} simply do not respond. This does not work. What to do next? Should I change the collation for all columns? Any other solution?
