Display numbers for groupselect-Function was created by alexatr

In previous versions, the number of results per group was displayed in the groupselect function.
So
Group 1 (15)
Group 3 (3)
...
and so on.
But in the current version 3.9.7 for Joomla 3 only Group 1 is displayed without the number.

Can anyone tell me what needs to be changed and how, so that the number is displayed here again?

Would certainly be very useful for many others.
