joodb ifis: compare field values was created by crimle

I understand the ifis function and the example in the documentation as far as a field is compared with an integer or string value.
Example:

Code:

{joodb ifis|price|100|ge}

I need to compare two field values, which does not seem to be working.
Example:

Code:

{joodb ifis|fieldname1|fieldname2|eq}
    These two items have the same value.
{joodb else}
    These two items have a different value.
{joodb endif}

Is there a solution for this?
