Cannot save Options or Template changes in 1.6.1

Please give us more information - what browser your working with? etc.
Did you try Firefox for instance??

it sounds like a javascript problem. have you ever tried a modern browser?
especially with old JCE versions there where some issues.

i wouldn't use ie8 anymore.

I always work with Firefox kept up to date. It's version 13 right now. However I must also admit that today I've realized there are other write-read problems... I will let you know if from another hosting situation it works differently.
