Yes... This is correct. Even if you change the sort by field in the advance parameters, it does not change the sort order in the catalog view...

There was an article on how to add other variables, but this was for 1.7 and not 1.5.

Any help here?

Hi Mike,
i can´t reproduce your problem at all ...
changing the sort order works fine (on all joomla versions - even good old 1.5).
(1.5 -> parameters advenced / order by)
