Hi Dirk, Is it possible to transfer a valid licence key from a defunct domain to another current domain? If so how may I go about that?
Second, will there be a version for Joomla 3 at any time?

yes (you should use our Ticketsystem ...) of course.

Joomla! Version 2.5 is the first choice when creating new websites. Only those who need the new features really should install the 3.0. As this version is still being strong, you have to expect mistakes and major changes and will consider them in deciding the version and, if accepted.
We working on it, but not with high priority. Please be patient.
