Editing data record from back end

Editing data record from back end was created by sharnbl
When editing/updating records from back end (administration) of site, I am losing some field values (usually text) when I press 'Apply' or 'Save'.

Creating new records works fine, the problem only occurs if making changes to an already existing record. I currently have to make the changes directly to the database via phpMyAdmin, but I would like to get back end of jooDB working properly so that my site managers can update records themselves.

Has anyone else had this happen? How did you fix it?

I am using jooDB v1.7 with joomla! v1.5.23

We can not confirm this issue. Maybe a problem with your editor or text-filter settings.
