Catalog-view without results

Hello

How I can do this?

When a visitor or anyone comes to my website, Catalog-view with a searchbox will shows empty? When someone do search Catalog will show results but not before search. Now it shows 5 result when you are in the page.

Come on - how should anyone be able to help with this little information ...
As our little hint on top of this page says:

I think your destination is to reach, with a simple non-existing search parameter in the URL (in the menu link to your database). For example: "&search=search"
