I've yet to find an extension that will pull data from an existing Joomla db for a dedicated multi-device mobile app.

By duplicated or cutting & pasting content from a Joomla article to JooDatabase, could this be a potential solution for that end goal?

Are you aware if this db has this been used with PhoneGap or other mobile app-type dev tools such as Dreamweaver's fluid grid for mobile or Dreamweaver's jQuery Mobile templates?

I really see a need for that in Joomla and this looks like it might be a step in the right direction.
