Cannot save Options or Template changes in 1.6.1 was created by Robert
Even using joodb_sample on a totally new/fresh site (with no other extensions installed), I cannot save any changes to the General Options or to any of the three Templates. Clicking on Save or Save & Close doesn't do anything. I have to click on Cancel and come out.
It's a shame, because, otherwise, joodatabase does exactly what I need !!

Tried it out on a Joomla 1.5 site now and it all seems to work - just not on my 1.6 site.

Try to switch of. The TinyMCE editor.
It seems to be a bug with

TinyMCE and Pannels.
You should use JCE as Editor. Dont forget to switch off sode cleaning.

Save & Close, Save buttons do not work in Joomla 1.7.2 either.
