Linking entries to a user

Hi,

I just purchased the pro version. I need to have a user submit entires of their own and then to be able to edit entries only they have made. Is there anyway to tag their Joomla id directly in the data and to then filter the results based on who is logged on within the existing framework?

I need to then be able to expand the dataset on which this is based. It will be catering for >10000 users - each with unique records - eventually.
