OK... I just want to show the catalog view. Don't need a read more link at the bottom or for the title (top, first text) to be a link to the details page.

Please tell me where / how to remove the link. I have the read more arrow removed already... just need to remove the link on the top text / title so that it is not linking / going to the details page any longer.

It's in the Joomla menu options of your catalog entry
It's in the advanced tab.
