I have the same problem, because I want to conect to mysql database in my local host, and I cann´t continuing.

I am attempting to connect Joo DB to a simple (non-joomla) mysql database.

1. I can make the connection to the DB through an ODBC through access sucessfully.
2. When I attempt to create a new JOO Database connection, enter the server info and click test
   1. it says it is connected, but does not list any databases in the dropdown, so I cannot continue...

Thoughts?
