Custom format for date fields was created by Mmax2
My suggestion for this excellent software is to get the possibility of custom format for date fields. I don't know if this is already possible without changing the code.
Thank you!

Do you mean the STYLE or the functionality?

You can style the form-fields individually by its ID. (Name of the field collumn)

E.g.
#mydate { float: right; width: 100px; }

The pro version hat a plugin system.

When I view my catalog template, if the field is a date one I obtain this result:
31 Maggio 2010
But I prefer displaying 31/05/2010 because it's narrower and I have little space.
Thank you very much for your reply!

Oh you mean the field display and not the form-field for date.

JooDB uses DATE_FORMAT_LC3 from the en-GB.ini file respective it-IT.ini
in /languages/en-GB.

So if you want to change, use the it-IT.override.ini
in /languages/it-IT/overrides
Or whatever your frontend-language is.

And inset the following:
DATE_FORMAT_LC3="d/m/Y"

Does this work for a time display format as well?
